1. This is a survival world.
2. Creative mode is only allowed for building (because it’s easier to build in Creative)
3. You can’t use command blocks
4. Some cheats are allowed in order to help us in survival mode and do things, such as:
(a) You may /give yourself things that would not be particularly hard to get with your tools, e.g. stuff like cobblestone, sand, dirt, or a small amount of rockets;
(b) You may not /give yourself difficult things e.g. netherite, diamond and up equipment, large amounts of gold/iron/etc;
(c) /effect is allowed with basic effects at a low level;
(d) You can’t /effect other people unless you know it’s OK with them;
(e) You’re allowed to use /teleport but you can only teleport to people if they give consent;
(f) /locate is allowed.

5. Some people like space around their base that others don’t build on. Others need to respect that. You therefore need permission to build less than 250 blocks from someone’s base. Once you’ve started building you can’t expand to less than 250 blocks from someone’s space. The person whose base it is also gets a say in the nature of your build if it is within 250 blocks of their base. You also need to respect the environment around someone’s base for example don’t do a massive build all around someone else’s base 251 blocks from it.

6. Don’t interfere with or destroy other peoples’ builds without their consent. Remember that your build might get destroyed by a creeper when someone else visits your base and that’s not their fault.
7. No killing people’s pets unless they give their consent.
8. No putting people in ‘visitor’ mode.

These rules need to be discussed, edited if necessary and agreed, and also we need to agree what actions will be taken if someone breaks the rules.
